…and into the Trees

08/07/21. While designing this countryside Family Club residence, we have come to a conclusion that building in a forest is like arranging furniture inside a completed interior, where you are working with a given shape. To keep the trees intact, the whole development is split into fragments placed on small clearings. The fragments are threaded on connecting passages. We have used pad foundations, raising the structures among the pines on “delicate haunches” to provide maximum space for the tree roots. The Family Club emerges as a low-key family-scale development.
