12/01/21. This year, two of our projects, VG Horse Club and the Dental Clinic, have been nominated for one of the most prestigious European architectural prizes: the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture − Mies van der Rohe Award 2022. This biennial Prize for Contemporary Architecture is dedicated to Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and is awarded and funded by the European Union and the Fundació Mies van der Rohe, Barcelona, to recognize and commend excellence in European architecture. Co-established in 1987 by the European Commission, the European Parliament and Fundació Mies van der Rohe, the biennial Prize is open for all works completed in Europe within the previous two years. Proposals are submitted by a group of independent experts, national Associations of Architects and the Advisory Committee for the assessment by the Jury. The Jury members visit the five finalist works and make their decision on the Prize Winner and the Emerging Architect Winner.
