30/07/18. This friday Oleg Drozdov is going to give a public talk at the largest architectural conference in Eastern Europe – ‘Architecture of the Future’, which is going to take place in Kyiv. The topic of the report is “Ruralism vs Urbanism: new forms of accommodation” dealing with the “struggle” of the opposites and taking two of our projects – Pensacola Cityblock & Provençal Ruralism – as examples.
24/09/18. An exquisite Parisian suburb on the bank of the river Seine is the place for our new project with a very delicate task, which is to transform a family chateau dating back to the late XVIII century into a modern spa-hotel while preserving its original details to the maximum.
11/09/18. Kharkiv School of Architecture has embarked on its very first academic year of 2018/19.
29/08/18. Located in one of the major streets of Kharkiv, the building responds to a number of circumstances: the street scale, its structure, and tecnitics, together with the hospitality sector which is on the rise in the neighbourhood.
13/08/18. The building used to be a shabby legacy of the Soviet times. Today it’s a dental clinic with a training centre. Together with Andrey Avdeenko Photographer we’ve made a photoshoot of our new built project.
23/07/18. The project of a new housing estate in Odesa is our interpretation of Le Corbusier’s Cité Radieuse. It’s a dialogue between the neighbourhoods of old city, towers, and a continuous megastructure, which introduces high density and diversity of interconnected spaces, each having its own functional peculiarities.
16/07/18. Petra Sagaydachnogo street in Kyiv is going to become a traffic-free zone in the near future, which calls for a totally different nature of interaction between the public space and the adjacent buildings.
13/07/18. In the interview given to the ukrainian magazine “House & Interior”, the members of the jury of the Ukrainian Urban Awards explained why Teatr na Podoli was awarded the first prize.
09/07/18. Our proposal for the renovation of the riverfront in Kharkiv, which involves several aspects: embankments and parks, retrofitting the former industrial estates, improvement of the existing bridges.

16/06/18. With a slightly orchestrated delay, we have two pieces of news to tell you: a sad one and a good one. The sad news is that we’ve said final goodbyes to our former website. It was our first website that appeared as many as twelve years ago thanks to Minus One company and Grafprom studio. The good news, however, is that we’ve launched a new website, where we’re going to broadcast all the most important things happening in our life: events, interviews, new projects, ect.
12/06/18. Prom DAY open-air festival is going to take place in Lviv on 16 June. During this event Oleg Drozdov and Yulian Chaplinskyy, Chief Architect of Lviv, are going to take part in the debate entitled “Not By Revitalization Alone” that will raise the issues of “resurrecting” old and abandoned spaces and why these cases should be only treated as temporary stepping stones for further work.
02/06/18. The first day of summer brought us some great news. Our Teatr na Podoli received as many as two awards at the Ukrainian Urban Awards ceremony. It was voted to be the Project of the Year, as well as the best project in the category of cultural and social architecture.
01/06/18. Meet Oleg Drozdov as an invited speaker at the architectural forum SHARE Sofia 2018 on June 7 in the capital city of Bulgaria. ‘Flesh Blood Spirit’ is the title of his report which is devoted to our projects that feature recycled bricks: Heirloom, Markhouse, Teatr na Podoli, Litmuzey.
22/04/18. One of the events during CANactions festival was a workshop with Vitaliy Pravik, our model maker. The participants had a chance to try their hand at hot-wire foam cutting and making a landscape model all by themselves.
