Having the same scale and material as the existing development, the new object modestly manifests itself, without being deprived of its own individuality. The facade overlooks the street and represents an “ornament” made of ceramic bricks, framed by a steel structure. the “heavy” mass becomes weightless as the shafts of light penetrate into the depth of the building. The ground floor is a transparent showcase which makes the upper part of the building seem to float above the surface.
